He pulled off the road after a while, stopping at another motel. This time though, he got out and checked in, leaving Elle locked in the car while I he registered for the room. Once he got the key he went back to the car, scooping her up into his arms.
He carried her into the bedroom and lied her onto one of the beds. He got a room with two beds, as he had no desire to share one with her. This was just business, after all. Nothing more, nothing less.
