She felt horrible at his frown, but when his palm touched the back of her hand, she felt a rush of determination. He wanted her to try again, so she would. She steeled herself and closed her eyes, letting his fingers guide her to the right spot.
She let out a shaky sigh and waited, thinking about the gentle warmth of his hands on hers and the steadiness of his breath--and then she felt... a tingle, but it wasn't from Adam--it was from Sylar. Like he'd shocked her a little, without the pain, but that just... wasn't... possible.
