Jul. 7th, 2009 10:37 amUnlike the other day, he had been given a little more freedom. They had switched him from the IVs to the pills, and no longer kept him strapped down on the bed, unable to move. He wondered if this was a good sign or not. It was hard to tell. But still, even getting up and moving about was a nice liberty to have back to himself. You never realize how much you enjoy doing something that simple until you're no longer able to do it.
His shirt had been replaced with a plain white t-shirt, and the doctors had given an injection of something that had healed up all the burn marks she had left on him. It was strange how they seemed determined to keep him in a healthy condition. It made him weary. Did they have some sort of plan for him? Why else would they be keeping such good care over a serial killer? It didn't make sense.
As he paced the tiny cell he was kept it his eyes occasionally flickered over to the glass. Would she come visit him again like she had implied? Not that it mattered. He was simply...curious, that's all. And if he was going to be stuck in this place, it was nice to have someone to talk to at times, even if it was her.
The only other people who came in were the doctors, and they were just doing their work. Nothing more, nothing less. Some company would be nice.

Date: 2009-07-09 04:56 pm (UTC)She wanted it to work. For some reason, if it didn't, she was afraid Sylar would think less of her. She would certainly feel less about herself.
She tore her eyes from his and closed them, trying to concentrate, her fingers nimbly pressing into the blood-soaked brain matter. She waited for it, for that shudder of delight, but it never came.
"It's not working," she hissed out through clenched teeth, and shot her eyes open when Adam laughed quietly. She snapped, shocking his exposed brains and feeling a little invigorated as it sizzled before healing and Adam jerked on a hoarse scream. "We don't have to give you your scalp back, you know," she spat at him.

Date: 2009-07-09 05:02 pm (UTC)He placed his hand over hers to see if maybe that would accelerate the process. His dark eyes watched her carefully, waiting for any signs that it might be working or not.

Date: 2009-07-09 05:14 pm (UTC)She let out a shaky sigh and waited, thinking about the gentle warmth of his hands on hers and the steadiness of his breath--and then she felt... a tingle, but it wasn't from Adam--it was from Sylar. Like he'd shocked her a little, without the pain, but that just... wasn't... possible.
Her eyes snapped open and she looked to their hands and back at him in awe. "You just did something," she said in disbelief.

Date: 2009-07-09 05:19 pm (UTC)Which was kind of stating the obvious, but still needed to be said. How could be possibly of shocked her without killing her? It didn't make any sense.
He pulled his hand away from hers, only so he could expect it more closely. As he rubbed his fingers together, he could see small bits of static blue electricity come up.
But that didn't make any sense.

Date: 2009-07-09 05:30 pm (UTC)She couldn't help but feel a little cheated--they were hers, but if anyone in the world should have them besides her... it would be him.
"How- why?" she stuttered. "How did you do that?"

Date: 2009-07-09 05:48 pm (UTC)Like a (not so) holy palmers' kiss, she mused. "Cool."
No matter how he did it, he still did it, and she chalked it up to yet another reason why he was so extraordinary.

Date: 2009-07-09 11:17 pm (UTC)She tilted her head in contemplation at Adam--so, she liked to kill him a lot, but... that didn't mean she didn't like him a little. He could be fresh with her, but she sort of admired that about him.

Date: 2009-07-09 11:24 pm (UTC)He then turned and made his way to the door, standing next to Elle. "So where do you think we'll be able to find this Eden person?" He asked with a title of his head.

Date: 2009-07-09 11:49 pm (UTC)And Eden. Oh, Eden. Prissy holier-than-thou bitch. She not exactly sure where to find Eden--maybe still snooping around Isaac Mendez's empty room and crying into his sheets, now that he's gone? Elle doesn't really have a specific reason she hates Eden, other than she just does. There's something so condescending about her soft voice; she hates the way Eden talks to her. Like she's a fragile stupid little girl.
She finds herself dearly looking forward to watching her die.
"Maybe in her room," she says, and heads that way, checking corners and holding out a hand to stop Sylar from following her into the room. She gives him a pointed look and knocks, waiting for the door to open.
It does, hiding Sylar from view. Eden's wide eyes find hers, and then flash with surprise at the blood all over her.
Elle immediately starts crying. "He got out! He's gone! Daddy's going to kill me!" She starts shaking, laying it on thick, and grabs Eden's arms and drags her out, the smaller girl's back facing Sylar.
"Elle, calm down," Eden says soothingly, in that voice--but honestly Elle is totally calm and it doesn't do much.
She drops her shoulders anyway and gulps in air, slowing her tears.

Date: 2009-07-10 01:55 am (UTC)His smirk only widens more as she brings out Eden. Excellent. He brings a hand up and flings Eden into the wall, pining her there. He blinked for a moment, approaching her carefully, his voice darkening.
"I recoginize you. You lived near Chandra, didn't you?"

Date: 2009-07-10 02:05 am (UTC)Eden ignored his question. "You're not going to kill me," she said, persuasive in more ways than one, her eyes steeled with surety.

Date: 2009-07-10 02:44 am (UTC)He stopped infront of her, bringing a hand up to make his signature cut. "But now, with your power you'll be able to help me even more." And without anything else said, began cutting into her skull.
no subject
Date: 2009-07-10 02:55 am (UTC)She'd helped too. It made her feel a little sick--it could easily be her up against that wall, screaming as he sliced into her skull. But it wasn't.
Was it so bad, she thought? She felt a little sick, but also a little... thankful. That despite what had come to pass, they'd still found each other, and now there was no lies between them. She wasn't going to mess up again.
Did he think it was so bad? Or was he torn, like she was? In the end, she supposed, it didn't matter. As long as they were together.

Date: 2009-07-10 03:06 am (UTC)He wasn't even aware of Elle's fear or discomfort as he knelt down next to Eden's corpse, pulling the skull off before he started the process of once again going through the brain. And then there was the signature shudder when he found what he was looking for.

Date: 2009-07-10 03:19 am (UTC)She watched, for the third time, as he searched for that spot with crimson hands--layers and layers of dried blood starting to cake on his palms. She decided as much as she appreciated Eden was dead and gone, she appreciated this much more.
She bit her lip, felt her heart pick up as he shuddered, and she fell to her knees beside him, leaning in to feel the last of the shiver against her lips. She tasted the line of his pulse and nuzzled into his neck with a content (not to mention aroused) sigh.

Date: 2009-07-10 03:25 am (UTC)He placed a bloody hand on her chin tilting it up as he shifted to face her. And without a moment of hesistation he captured her lips with his own. There were so many things he wanted to do with her, to her, but it would have to wait until they got out of here. For now, this would have to be enough.

Date: 2009-07-10 03:39 am (UTC)She let a spark pass between their moving lips, giggling softly as it burned him.

Date: 2009-07-10 03:54 am (UTC)He leaned in and pressed his lips against hers again, his hands resting at her hips as he pulled her closer to him. He parted his lips to bite down on hers, grinning slightly to himself as he tasted the soft tange of blood briefly brush against his tongue...and then. He blinked in confusion and pulled away, bringing a finger up to brush against her lips.
"It worked," He murmured reverently. "You healed."

Date: 2009-07-10 04:01 am (UTC)Her eyes widened, and she touch her lips, pulling back her hand once, twice, three times before she could understand it wasn't damaged in the slightest.
"Holy shit," she murmured, and flicked her eyes to his in disbelief and excitement. "Do it again. Hurt me."
