Oct. 27th, 2009 09:38 pmIt had been a long and rather annoying process, getting his body back. Longer than he would have liked. More than anything, he just wanted to kill Matt Parkman, make him stay in his stupid head of his for so long. Sylar wasn't the type who liked confinement. In fact, he was exactly the opposite. He needed freedom. The ability to do what he wanted, take what he wanted. Parkman would pay for keeping him from it.
But there was something he needed to do first. Being with Parkman's wife had reminded him how much he missed Elle. He hated admitting to needing or wanting anyone, but if there was one thing he regretted, it was killing her.
He could fix that now. He had heard of this kid who could control life and death. Bennet had helped give him a new life. But that wasn't going to last long. Soon enough, Sylar found Jeremy and killed him (but not before noting how eeringly the kid looked like Luke. Weird). He dug around his brains and found what he was looking for. That delicious power.
Next stop was Costa Verde. He assumed Elle's corpse had to still be there. After all, where else would it have gone? He searched the newspapers until he read about a unidentified burnt corpse that was found the beach. He noted where she was buried and set off.
He was excited, he had to admit, to see her again. It didn't even cross his mind that she might be mad at him. After all, sure, he killed her, but he was bringing her back. That's what mattered, right? That's the way he saw it, anyways.
He found her grave and used his telekinesis to move the soil away, popping open the casket. He kneeled beside her, placing his hands on her burnt remains, focusing on restoring it to it's former glory. He found himself smirking as her body knit back together.
He was going to get her back, and then together they could kill Parkman. What could be better?

Date: 2009-10-30 04:43 am (UTC)She wished she could have seen the look on Parkman's stupid face. "What happened?" Elle asked, licking her spoon, looking up at him with amused eyes--and a real smile, for the first time. But it was allowed, because it had nothing to do with being there with him.

Date: 2009-10-30 05:41 am (UTC)Elle could feel her cheeks growing hot, and her fork clattered into her plate. Be like what all the time? What did he do to her? How? Where? She wanted to know everything, and then she wanted to kill the stupid bitch. And him. A lot.
Oh god, she was going to vomit up all of her pancakes.
"What?" she snapped.

Date: 2009-10-30 05:47 am (UTC)"You heard me," He said casually, taking a victory sip of his coffee. "I screwed her. He was pretty pissed at me the first time I did it, but she seemed to enjoy it. Apparently, I'm much better in bed than he normally was." He paused a moment for effect before adding. "Why does it matter? I thought you never wanted to touch me again."

Date: 2009-10-30 05:58 am (UTC)Elle's breath went shaky and she stood up without another thought, picked up her half-eaten plate of strawberry-topped pancakes and her orange juice, and dropped the sticky sauce right into his lap, the juice finding its rightful home in his hair.
She threw the dishes down onto the table with a loud clatter, and then walked straight out the door, her fists clenched as she stalked aimlessly down the sidewalk.

It's not like Janice had meant anything. It had just been an ends to a means. A way to get back at Parkman, to take more control from him.

Date: 2009-10-30 06:25 am (UTC)Okay, so maybe he did feel kind of guilty about it. He certainly had preferred sex with Elle. But it had been an ends to a means. Just like kissing Maya had been back in Mexico. He wasn't afraid to use sex as a weapon, if he had to.

Date: 2009-10-30 06:33 am (UTC)She was so angry she could killed someone, anyone. The first person that looked at her the wrong way on the street. So clearly, she headed straight for the 7-11 a few storefronts down like it was a shining beacon of light.
She needed a slushie.

Date: 2009-10-30 06:39 am (UTC)Once again, he found himself really wondering if bringing her back had been worth it or not. He finally made his way out of the bathroom once he was cleaner, making his way to the counter to pay for her slushie.
At least those usually put her in better moods.

Date: 2009-10-30 06:46 am (UTC)She wasn't overreacting. He just ruined everything for her, even when she was dead. Elle let the sugary, frozen drink calm her nerves as she walked silently back to the diner, licking her wounds.
Maybe she should just leave. Obviously he wasn't taking this grovelling thing seriously.

Date: 2009-10-30 06:56 am (UTC)They were approaching the diner and where the car was parked as he continued. "Look, I never would have fucked her if I knew there was any chance of you coming back. If I had known then, I wouldn't have done it, even if it was the best way to get control of him and get my body back."
