Gabriel hadn't asked Elle whether it was okay if he showed up at the club again or not. He didn't ask because he knew the answer was no. But he didn't care. If other men were going to oogle what belonged to him, he was at least going to sit there and watch and make sure that nobody tried anything.

He had tried staying away for the first couple of days after spending the whole day at her apartment, but it hadn't went well. He usually ended up at another strip club, with another blonde, and it at all went to hell from there. Two more had been reported missing in the last week because of him. He was making patterns which was never a good thing. He didn't want to get caught, after all. He had been doing this for too long to start getting sloppy now.

So instead he was back to Elle's strip club for the night, sitting in the back like he used to always do. He was nursing his second glass of scotch and carefully watching the surroundings for any funny business. No one had taken Elle into any of the private rooms for the evening yet, there was at least that to be glad about.

He was wearing one of his normal after work outfits of black pants and a dark blue button down shirt, complete with his his leather jacket. Nothing special. Nothing that would grab anyone's attention.

She let out a suffering sigh and kicked her legs a little, half-tempted to just shut up and rest against his chest. She was tired, but she had only been leaning against him and closing her eyes because she could. "I'm not invalid," she grumbled, glaring up at him. "And people are staring."

"We're almost there," He argued, not letting go of her as he crosses another street. He could see her apartment building from here. He liked carrying her, and only a couple of people had actually stopped and looked at them. He didn't see what the big deal was.

"You are so weird," she complained. "I'm not a baby. I can walk."

Really, it wasn't a big deal. But she was tired and grouchy and she was a whiner when it came right down to it. So she let out an aggravated growl and held on tighter anyway, letting her head loll onto his shoulder.

His mouth quirked a little at the weird comment. She had no idea. But he didn't say that. Instead he just held her closer to him. "Did it ever occur to you that maybe I just like carrying you?"

Her lips quirked up against her will, and she closed her eyes again against the closeness of his warmth. "You don't have one of those freaky baby fetishes, do you? Because if you do, we're over."

He wrinkled his nose at that, looking deeply offended. "Elle. Don't be disgusting," He chided as he approached her building, finally setting her back down on her feet so she could let them in.

She giggled softly, beaming up at his disgusted face for a moment. "Just making sure," she said, fishing her keys out to unlock the door. I'm not getting into a baby bonnet for you," she added teasingly, looking over her shoulder with an amused smirk.

"Nor would I want you to," He assured her in a deeply offended tone while stepping inside of the apartment. Really, he couldn't understand how anyone could be into something like that.

Elle didn't either, but his reaction was still hilarious, as if he was personally offended by the idea. She rolled her eyes and started up the stairs a little slowly, tiredly, her knees weak and aching.

Pole dancing wasn't as glamorous as it looked. Mostly it was a bitch.

That was probably due to the fact that he was sort of personally offended by it. That was just the way he was. He couldn't help it. But he let it drop, quietly following her inside of her apartment now.

Elle unceremoniously dropped her things on the counter with a tired groan, not bothering to look back as she tried to unzip her boots and kick them off, all the while hobbling to the fridge for a water bottle. "Want anything, Mr. Serious?" she teased lightly.

"Water is fine," He replied as he kicked off his shoes. He then took off his leather jacket, draping it over his arm. It's not like he needed it here inside of his apartment.

She grabbed two out and slid one over the kitchen island to him. With a tired sigh, she dragged herself off the cool tile and straight over to curl up on the lived-in couch, taking a long sip. "So. What did you want to talk about, Gabriel?" she asked with a bitter smirk, her eyes raising to his.

"Nothing in particular," He said softly, sitting next to her on the couch. He opened up the bottle and took a long swig before saying anything else. "I just wanted to see you. That's all."

He really wasn't good at this stuff.

His awkwardness was almost painful, because she felt it too, suddenly. She wasn't normally an awkward person, but it was like he rubbed it off on everyone he touched. She sighed a little impatiently, a little helplessly and put the bottle to the side. Her body protested the movement, but she got up anyway, nudging his knees apart with a softened gaze, lowering herself against his chest.

"Do you wanna take a bath with me?" she asked with a curious smile.

As she rested against him his arms came instinctively around her, tugging her closer to him. It was so nice, just holding her. It made him feel less awkward, at the very least. He was a little surprised at her question before nodding a little. "I'd like that."

"A no funny business one," she warned playfully, pushing on her toes to kiss his lips. She couldn't help the urge when he was so near and warm, and his arms encircled and brought her closer anyway.

"Of course not," He murmured softly, leaning in to return the soft kiss. He had been wanting to do this all night. He wasn't expecting anything more though. After all, this wasn't a booty call. It was...he wasn't sure what it was, but it wasn't that.

Her eyes slipped closed for a moment, and he stole a small gasp from her lungs. She almost didn't want to move for a moment, between his warm arms and her exhaustion and his soft kiss.

"Good," she murmured sweetly, darting her tongue out to lick his lips with a small smile.

She forced herself to push back from him, leaning on the couch between his legs, her hands reaching for the button on her jeans. She couldn't help but watch him with that same little simper as she opened the button, pulled down the zipper, and slipped it off her bare hips. She hadn't bothered putting on underwear.

He couldn't help but feel a little memorized as he watched her undress. Sure, he had seen her strip many times before but this was different. It was special, and private and intimate. This wasn't just a show she was putting on for him, though he had no doubt that she was trying to put on a show a bit.

He began to unbutton his own shirt slowly, unable to tear his eyes away from her as he pulled it off.

She waited--because that was courteous wasn't it?--and let her gleaming eyes drop down to watch his bigger fingers work at the buttons on his shirt. She couldn't deny her interest at every inch of skin he uncovered, how his chest rose and fell with his breath.

Her lips quirked up a little more as he shed the garment, her eyes returning to his intent and dark gaze, focused completely on her.

There was something about it. Something personal. He made her feel sexy, not dirty or disgusting.

She reached for the hem of her sweatshirt, started hiking it up unnaturally slow--over the paleness tummy, her round breasts, and finally over her head. She was trying to put on a bit of a show.

It hadn't occurred to her it was as much for her as him, though. She liked how he looked at her.

He doubted he could look anywhere else, even if he wanted to, which he didn't. He was completely captivated, like a soldier throwing himself into the rocks for a siren.

He was pretty sure he had never seen something so beautiful in his life.

He watched for another moment or two before he began to undo his belt buckle, slowly pulling it out now. He didn't want to rush. He wanted to enjoy every moment. Not only looking at her but enjoying the way she looked at him. Like he was something precious. Special.

She blinked a little slowly, tracing shapes on her stomach, nearly blushing. He didn't have to call her beautiful at that moment. She knew he was thinking it, and she didn't even want nor need him to say it. The heat of his intense eyes said it more than words ever could.

She sucked her bottom lip between her teeth as he fiddled with his belt and pulled it off, slid her hands down her stomach to rest over her belly button. She felt it--that gentle rush of arousal under her palms, felt it pinken her cheeks a little.

He was beautiful too, in a different way.

He carefully undid his pants and slid them off, leaving him in just his boxers. He suddenly felt really naked in front of her, and not just in a physical sense either. It was something deeper than that.

She sucked in a slow, cleansing breath as he paused, stared up at her. Her arms fell and hung at her sides, swayed only a little before she leaned in enough to skim her fingers up his thighs, beneath his boxers. The touch felt electric; his warmth seemed to hum into her. Her hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she rested her forehead gently against his. "Well?" she whispered expectantly.
