The time spent in the Texas branch of Primatech had not been completely without merit. He had picked up alot of important information while they ran their tests on him, not the least of it being the address of the Cheerleader.

He would have escaped sooner if that stupid girl, Eden, hadn't shot herself. Still, her presence had made his mind wander back to someone else he had known back when he was still Gabriel, a name he heard repeated threw the walls a few times:

Elle Bishop.

The facts he gathered were simple enough. She was an agent and worked at the facility in New York. Which was where he headed as soon as he got out (which took alot longer than he liked. He had almost died in there). Especially with Claire's father being an agent, he had a feeling having an agent on his side would help.

And if it didn't, well then he could finally kill the bitch, which he would do eventually either way.

Breaking into the building was surprisingly simple. A few agents tried to stop him, but he killed them, and got the information on where to find what he was looking for. Who he was looking for. She was just an ends to a means, of course. There was no other reason for him coming to get Elle.

He twisted his hand, ripping open the door for her bedroom before stalking his way inside. He could hear the alarms going off, and they were probably calling out more agents to come after him. The sooner he got out, the better.

She took his hand excitedly, and used it to pivot herself up, her arms wrapping tight around his midsection with an instant smile. Maybe Elle had been waiting for an excuse to touch him, and she usually took an inch and went a mile. "I don't know," she smiled, tilting her chin up against his chest. "Someplace fun."

He smiled, just enjoying holding her close for a moment or two. "Let's go out and see what we can find."

Back when he was Gabriel, he had imagined taking her out on dates, but now he couldn't think of any.

"Okay," she beamed, and squeezed him once, like he was a big teddy bear, before grabbing his hand and skipping towards the door. Going outside would be nice. She hadn't been outside for fun in a long time.

Neither had he, really. He didn't go out much other than to kill. Usually because the less he stayed in public, the better. But it seemed worth it, going out with Elle.

She passed the car, because she'd rather walk, and the town seemed big enough for somewhere interesting to go. Elle sidled up to Sylar as they touched the sidewalk, and held onto his arm, weaving her fingers through his and holding on. "How many powers do you have now, anyway?"

"Four," He replied smoothly, smirking a little with pride as they walked along. "Telekinesis, Trevor's ability, freezing and enhanced memory." He smirked a little bit more in thought. "And it'll be five once I get my hands on that Cheerleader."

"Enhanced memory sounds like a boring power," she said flippantly, looking across the street at the rows of shops and bars. She'd heard about it of course--that poor girl in Texas not too long ago. She wondered why he had gone for that one, considering his appetite seemed satiated by violent abilities.

"Hardly. Knowledge is everything, Elle," He replied in a matter of fact tone. "With her memory I can remember every little detail, every little fact I read, retain it, and use it to my advantage in the future. It has a million uses." Especially when combined with his natural ability to see how things worked.

That made sense--she didn't doubt its usefulness (just its entertainment value), but she understood his reasoning, now, for going for it. She smiled a little. "Oh yeah? What was in my room?" she tested him.

"Not much," He quipped with a shrug. "It looked only a step up from the prison cells. For all your tough girl attitude, most of your bedding was made of frills and lace. Your closet was open and filled with clothes, mostly outfits designed to entice men with. You had even more shoes than clothes."

Elle made a soft sound of offense and disagreement. "I am tough," she argued childishly. She couldn't really argue about her wardrobe. That was true. If knowledge was power, sex was a close second, in Elle's point of view.

"I didn't say you weren't. I'm just saying that your choice in bedding would imply that there's more to you than just that." He wasn't really complaining about her outfit. He liked looking at her body, as it had been made very clear earlier this morning.

Elle's face scrunched, and she looked up at him warily. She wasn't sure if that was a compliment or not. "What's that mean?"

He raised a brow in response. "It means you're complex. That you're not as simple as most people are, so easy to figure out."

Her lips twitched. "My bedding told you that?" she teased gently.

"Many things about you told me that," He replied, smiling a little. "It's usually easy for me to figure people and things out, I have a gift for it. It's nice to run into a challenge."

Elle leaned closer to him curiously, nibbling on her bottom lip for a moment, gazing up at him with scrutiny. "What's you diagnosis so far?"

He smirked playfully at her. "That's confidential information, it can't be shared."

Her blue eyes narrowed into slits, a smile playing around her lips. "How's about if I bribe you?"

His smirk winded at her suggestion. "What kind of bribe did you have in mind?"

She nibbled coyly on her fingernail, peeking up at him. "Name your price," she said slyly.

He shook his head lightly. "No, I'd much rather see what you'd come up with. I'm sure you'll be creative."

"But how will I know what you want unless you tell me?" she grinned, continuing the banter, playing with his fingers between hers.

"You won't," He conceded with a playful grin. "But it's be alot more fun to watch you try to figure it out."

Elle's smile cracked into her cheeks, her dimples showing, and she nearly twirled in front of him, walking back on her heels. She grabbed his other hand, rubbing his fingers with hers. "Do you want money?" she asked teasingly.
