The time spent in the Texas branch of Primatech had not been completely without merit. He had picked up alot of important information while they ran their tests on him, not the least of it being the address of the Cheerleader.

He would have escaped sooner if that stupid girl, Eden, hadn't shot herself. Still, her presence had made his mind wander back to someone else he had known back when he was still Gabriel, a name he heard repeated threw the walls a few times:

Elle Bishop.

The facts he gathered were simple enough. She was an agent and worked at the facility in New York. Which was where he headed as soon as he got out (which took alot longer than he liked. He had almost died in there). Especially with Claire's father being an agent, he had a feeling having an agent on his side would help.

And if it didn't, well then he could finally kill the bitch, which he would do eventually either way.

Breaking into the building was surprisingly simple. A few agents tried to stop him, but he killed them, and got the information on where to find what he was looking for. Who he was looking for. She was just an ends to a means, of course. There was no other reason for him coming to get Elle.

He twisted his hand, ripping open the door for her bedroom before stalking his way inside. He could hear the alarms going off, and they were probably calling out more agents to come after him. The sooner he got out, the better.

She heard the alarms well before Sylar arrived at her room, and how could she not? They'd been blaring in her ear for the last fifteen minutes, lights flashing, bathing the halls with blood red. There was protocol obviously, and Elle obeyed it with only an eye roll, leaving Level Five with her fingers already sparking with electricity. The prisoners were raucous, obnoxious, and slammed their fists on the glass, excited by the prospect of something different happening in their dull lives.

And Elle was too. She was getting rusty, only playing with idiots who couldn't fight back. Being benched had certain drawbacks, and one of them was an itch for action.

She felt sort of like a prisoner now, but she stalked down the halls with purpose. Obviously, no other agents had been successful with the intruder, otherwise the alarm would have shut the hell up by now. It just went to show, you just couldn't send a moron to do an easy job. And maybe Daddy would let her off the hook if she got this one.

She was surprised, turning down her hall, to notice her room door torn off, and her brows furrowed in suspicion and confusion, stalking forward faster to the doorway. It was a man with dark hair and broad shoulders, and Elle didn't even think past that before lifting her hand and electrocuting him.

He cried out in pain as the familiar sting of electricity (that same sting he had felt when she had feebly attempted to stop him from killing Trevor) ran through him, knocking him down to the ground. Soon enough, he was back to his feet, holding his hand out to send her flying into the nearby wall. He started towards her, a predatory look in his eyes.

"I'd more careful if I were you, Elle," he snarled.

More than anything he wanted to just rip her open and take her sparks away from her. But that would defeat his plan.

It wasn't until he said her name that she even realized who he was. Elle coughed against the ground, her body throbbing as her neck slowly lifted, her gaze finally connecting with Gabriel's--Sylar's--blank, hungry face.

It was like a nightmare, or some cruel joke some higher power was playing, and for a split second, she simply blinked, her fingers sparking. What was he doing here? Why had he broken into her room?

It didn't matter. She closed her gaping jaw and lifted her hand again, her cyan eyes hardening, streams of lightning flying out to meet him. She used the opportunity to rise to her feet, her palms bright and ready.

He stumbled back, crying out in pain again. She was persistent, to say the very least. He would have to give her that, at the very least.

He twisted his hand, freezing her up with his electricity, stalking toward her. "Now, now, is that any way to greet me when I've come all this way to get you? I expected a warmer hello."

Her cry was sharp and sudden as her limbs halted, and she looked up at him with a glint of panic and anger. Her body rushed with instinctive electricity, and her skin burned. Get her? Why? But she gritted her teeth--because he couldn't see any weakness. He was a monster now, not an innocent watchmaker, and it took one to know one. "Eat shit," she hissed.

He grabbed her roughly, thankful that she was so tiny and light as he slung her over his shoulder, heading back out the way he came in. "You really should be nicer to me, Elle," He murmured, keeping her paralyzed. "Because with an attitude like that it's tempting to just screw my plan and rip open that head of yours, taking away that pretty spark you love so much."

Paralyzing her didn't mean making things any easier for him--if she thought she was just going to let him carry her out like a rag doll, he was a moron. She didn't care about his threats, and she'd rather die than go anywhere with him, for whatever plan he had. Her body sparked hard against him, arcs of electricity burning both of their bodies viciously.

He cried out in pain, dropping her and releasing his hold on her as he fell to the floor.

She was much braver than he remembered her to be, that was for sure. If he knew she was going to put up this much of a fight, he would have just knocked her out right away.

Elle didn't waste any time, adrenaline bursting into her veins. She ignored her aching body, her stinging skin, and kicked off his arm near her waist, pushing herself up to her feet.

He got up to his own feet, holding his hand up to send her flying into one of the walls, harder this time. "Don't make this more difficult than it needs to be."

The wall was hard and unforgiving, and the floor even more so. Both knocked the breath out of her, and her skull hit the latter with a sickening thud. For a moment, she lay, her arms futilely trying the push herself up, her eyes filling with painful tears. Something warm and wet soaked into her hair, dampened the side of her face.

She had to move. She could see Sylar's feet blurred in her vision, and she whimpered in pain, registering his words too slowly.

He tsked a little, crouching down next to her now. He cradled her head, inspecting the wound. She was bleeding, but she'd live. She'd probably get a concussion though.

"It would have been so much easier if you had just cooperated."

She wanted to flinch away from his deceivingly gentle touch, but all she managed to do was let out a soft sound of protest. "I'll burn your fingers off," she whispered, slurred with all the venom she could.

"I'd like to see you try, at the moment," He murmured softly, picking her up once more. He had to admit, she had made it much more difficult than he had originally expected it to be. He was kind of impressed with her.

She thought she might vomit as he dragged her up from the floor, her head lulling, her vision swimming. She almost wished she would, to ease the nausea in her gut, to piss him off even in a little way. Instead all she managed to do was scrape at his arm with her nails with hardly any strength whatsoever. It probably tickled him.

As far as he was concerned, she had no right to be upset. After everything she had done to him, she was lucky he didn't just kill her. He was still tempted to, honestly.

But for now he carried her out of the Company building, keeping a careful eye out for any approaching agents.

Elle looked blearily up to the bright sky, her body rocking with his footfalls, her breath starting to quicken. Even through the fuzziness of her mind, it was dawning on her just what was happening. Gabriel, Sylar, the monster she had helped push over the edge, was taking her away from her home, her father, everything she had ever known.

And there was nothing more she could do about it.

He made his way quickly to the car he had stolen and opened it up, placing Elle in the passenger's seat. As he buckled her up he couldn't help but briefly note that she was just as beautiful as he remembered her to be, if not more.

Her hands dropped slowly from his broad shoulders into her lap, and she felt the vertigo of being repositioned too strongly; bile rose in her throat and she blinked at the dashboard of the car as he reached over, his warmth and smell invading her senses. "I won't let you do this," she muttered forcefully.

"You should have thought of that before you betrayed me. You only brought this upon yourself," He snapped in annoyance as he finished securing her. He closed the door and made his way into the driver's seat, locking all the doors with his telekensis.

Weakly, she brought a hand up to wipe blood from the side of her face, her fingers glistening crimson. Did he want revenge? She heard the doors lock, the sound reverberating through her ears, and she lifted her eyes as the car tore out of the parking lot. There was something wrong. Concussion? She was so dizzy. "Cracking my skull was my fault?" she slurred sarcastically.

"Yes. If you had just cooperated to begin with, I wouldn't have had to use force," He replied in a matter of fact tone. He hoped she didn't have too bad of a concussion. That would render her useless to him for a while.

Was he delusional or just retarded? she thought spitefully, and felt her stomach twist with unpleasantness as the car went over a rise in the road. Her ears rung and her sensitive head bumped against the seat, and she saw stars for a moment. She felt her breakfast--pancakes and sausage--push up into her mouth, so Elle graciously leaned sideways and spilled all of it into Sylar's lap, her chest heaving with gags.

He tensed up in response, snarling in anger. He grabbed her hair roughly, pulling her close to him now. "You had better be careful, or you're going to have alot more than a cracked skull."

He let go of her and pulled off the road, heading to a motel to check into so he could clean up. Like he was going to drive with vomit on him.

Her cry was loud, and the pain was so blinding her gags turned to sobs, his words burning into her ears. She slumped towards him, blinking back tears, and held her palm to the gash on her head.

Maybe a normal, frightened girl--and she was frightened--would say she was sorry, or cry, or beg for life. Elle simply coughed once and said painfully, "Oops. My bad."
