The time spent in the Texas branch of Primatech had not been completely without merit. He had picked up alot of important information while they ran their tests on him, not the least of it being the address of the Cheerleader.

He would have escaped sooner if that stupid girl, Eden, hadn't shot herself. Still, her presence had made his mind wander back to someone else he had known back when he was still Gabriel, a name he heard repeated threw the walls a few times:

Elle Bishop.

The facts he gathered were simple enough. She was an agent and worked at the facility in New York. Which was where he headed as soon as he got out (which took alot longer than he liked. He had almost died in there). Especially with Claire's father being an agent, he had a feeling having an agent on his side would help.

And if it didn't, well then he could finally kill the bitch, which he would do eventually either way.

Breaking into the building was surprisingly simple. A few agents tried to stop him, but he killed them, and got the information on where to find what he was looking for. Who he was looking for. She was just an ends to a means, of course. There was no other reason for him coming to get Elle.

He twisted his hand, ripping open the door for her bedroom before stalking his way inside. He could hear the alarms going off, and they were probably calling out more agents to come after him. The sooner he got out, the better.

He made his way quickly to the car he had stolen and opened it up, placing Elle in the passenger's seat. As he buckled her up he couldn't help but briefly note that she was just as beautiful as he remembered her to be, if not more.

Her hands dropped slowly from his broad shoulders into her lap, and she felt the vertigo of being repositioned too strongly; bile rose in her throat and she blinked at the dashboard of the car as he reached over, his warmth and smell invading her senses. "I won't let you do this," she muttered forcefully.

"You should have thought of that before you betrayed me. You only brought this upon yourself," He snapped in annoyance as he finished securing her. He closed the door and made his way into the driver's seat, locking all the doors with his telekensis.

Weakly, she brought a hand up to wipe blood from the side of her face, her fingers glistening crimson. Did he want revenge? She heard the doors lock, the sound reverberating through her ears, and she lifted her eyes as the car tore out of the parking lot. There was something wrong. Concussion? She was so dizzy. "Cracking my skull was my fault?" she slurred sarcastically.

"Yes. If you had just cooperated to begin with, I wouldn't have had to use force," He replied in a matter of fact tone. He hoped she didn't have too bad of a concussion. That would render her useless to him for a while.

Was he delusional or just retarded? she thought spitefully, and felt her stomach twist with unpleasantness as the car went over a rise in the road. Her ears rung and her sensitive head bumped against the seat, and she saw stars for a moment. She felt her breakfast--pancakes and sausage--push up into her mouth, so Elle graciously leaned sideways and spilled all of it into Sylar's lap, her chest heaving with gags.

He tensed up in response, snarling in anger. He grabbed her hair roughly, pulling her close to him now. "You had better be careful, or you're going to have alot more than a cracked skull."

He let go of her and pulled off the road, heading to a motel to check into so he could clean up. Like he was going to drive with vomit on him.

Her cry was loud, and the pain was so blinding her gags turned to sobs, his words burning into her ears. She slumped towards him, blinking back tears, and held her palm to the gash on her head.

Maybe a normal, frightened girl--and she was frightened--would say she was sorry, or cry, or beg for life. Elle simply coughed once and said painfully, "Oops. My bad."

He rolled his eyes. He almost admired her spunk. She hardly seemed like the frightened little girl who had fled his apartment all those months ago. But the last thing he was going to admit was that he was at all impressed by her. He parked the car and got out, letting her out as well, grabbing her roughly by the wrist.

Going to the reception desk would be too risky, as it would involve her talking to someone else, so he made his way to one of the rooms, twisting his hand to pop it open with his telekensis. Luckily, a run down motel such as this didn't have much security, so no alarms went off or anything. Which was always a plus. Not that he planned on staying here long. He just needed to change.

He let go of her and twisted his hand again, locking up the room with telekinesis. He dropped his bag of spare clothes on the bed and began to strip off his dirty, vomit covered ones. Modesty wasn't really an issue at the moment.

It was almost laughably easy to reach out and drag a stained hand print on a pillar on the way inside--and maybe if he didn't catch it on the way out, her Daddy would find it and know she was still alive. He'd be looking for her, she knew it.

His grip was chaffing her wrist, and she tried ineffectually to tug it away with all the little bit of strength in her body. Instead, he let her go, and Elle fell to the ground with a soft thud, her legs buckling beneath her.

She was angry. She was beyond angry, and she crawled up to sit, to lean against one of the beds, grunting. And then spitefully wiped her bloody hand on a paisley bedspread. And then started to scream as loud as she could.

As soon as she began to scream he turned to her, twisted his hand to shut her mouth. "Don't give me a reason for you to scream like that, because if you act like that, I might as well just kill you."

He quickly pulled on a clean set of clothes and packed the dirty ones back in his bag before grabbing her by her wrist to drag her back to the car now. There was definitely no point in lingering now.

At this rate, he was going to need a muzzle for her.

She all but growled, glaring daggers at him and he roughly pulled her to her feet. Despite not being able to scream now, she wasn't going to continue and die. Unlike him, she wasn't stupid.

Because he obviously didn't understand the fact she could hardly walk, and Elle purposely let herself fall outside the motel door, her knees jarred against the concrete, scraping her free hand on the ground. Good. More blood. "With that package, I doubt you could make anyone scream," she snapped viciously.

He rolled his eyes at her attempt to insult his manhood, bending down to pick her up in his arms. Fine, if he had to carry her back to the car, he'd be more than willing to do so. He wasn't stupid.

"You could only wish that was the way I was going to make you scream."

Once upon a time, he had desperately wanted to kiss Elle, to make love to her, but now, that was the farthest thing from his mind. Okay, so she was pretty and if the opportunity arose, he wouldn't say no to fucking her, but at this point, she was just an ends to a means.

Just because he finally decided to carry her, didn't mean she had to let him do it easily. Not to mention his cocky, disgusting reply grated on her so hard that she sparked against him, blue and hot in little vindictive bursts. It was comforting to know that even though they were weak, her ability was still under her control. Maybe she had wished that, had wanted that, but he wasn't the Gabriel in her head anymore, and he never had been. She'd come to terms with that a long time ago. "Oh yeah. I want you, I need you," she hissed dryly, her arms pushing at him and her legs kicking in a fit.

They were even, because she had never been the Elle in his head either. They had both just been lying to one another, longing for something that never would have existed. It didn't matter now.

He could kill her easily, he was sure of it, and that thought brought him comfort.

He winced in pain at the small bursts of electricity as he carried her back to the car. He opened up the car and all but dumped her into her seat before making his way to his own, locking things up once more.

"Careful, I might decide to take you up on that."

He wouldn't. He was many things, but a rapist he wasn't. She didn't need to know that though. He wanted her scared.

Her lips twisted into a sneer, her eyes widening at his threat as her head lulled heavily back onto the seat. For a moment, she choked on her own breath; just what was he capable of now? Was he going to rape her? And then her fear transformed into disgust and anger and adrenaline at the thought of him even trying to force himself on her.

"I'd like to see you try, you fucking sicko. I'll burn it right off," she spat.

"Lucky for you, there are some things even I won't do," He assured her, starting up the car. He pulled out and made his way back on the road. If he was ever going to have sex with her, it was going to be consensual.

Not that he wanted to have sex with her.

"But how else are you going to get any, Gabriel?" she taunted, latching onto his given name. Maybe if he was angry enough, distracted enough, she could do something, anything to get away from him. And considering she couldn't affect him in any physically violent way, this could make her feel a whole lot better in substitution. Plus, she shouldn't pass out with a concussion. "You're still a virgin, right? Unless your creepy mother took care of that. Was she any good?"

"My name is Sylar," He snapped in anger, gripping the wheel tightly. He wasn't stupid, naive Gabriel Gray anymore who had been stupid enough to fall for her act. His grip tightened more at the comment about his mother, his knuckles becoming white. The reference to his sexual status was irrelevant. So what if he was still a virgin? It didn't matter. Sex was the farthest thing from his mind these days.

She internally brightened in victory at the affect her words had on him. He hadn't have needed to reply verbally for her to know she could give herself a point, because his body was so tense. "Your name is Gabriel," she argued defiantly, punctuating each word cruelly. "Gullible, weak Gabriel, afraid of being useless and alone."

"No, I'm not that person anymore," He hissed in response, his eyes narrowing in anger. And it wasn't. He wasn't useless. He was special

"You'll always be Gabriel to me," she said cruelly in response, panting slightly at swimming in her head. When would it stop?

"And you'll always be a useless liar to me," He snapped in annoyance. He didn't want to be Gabriel to her, not anymore.

"If I'm useless, why am I here?" she slurred back, struggling to keep her eyes open. Her mouth was feeling dry, and her tongue tasted like cotton and bile. She thought maybe she was finally going to lose consciousness. Maybe she had exerted herself too much.

"Okay, so maybe you have a few uses," He conceded, glancing over to her. She looked like she was close to going unconscious. If she slipped into unconsciousness, it would make his life more complicated.
