The time spent in the Texas branch of Primatech had not been completely without merit. He had picked up alot of important information while they ran their tests on him, not the least of it being the address of the Cheerleader.

He would have escaped sooner if that stupid girl, Eden, hadn't shot herself. Still, her presence had made his mind wander back to someone else he had known back when he was still Gabriel, a name he heard repeated threw the walls a few times:

Elle Bishop.

The facts he gathered were simple enough. She was an agent and worked at the facility in New York. Which was where he headed as soon as he got out (which took alot longer than he liked. He had almost died in there). Especially with Claire's father being an agent, he had a feeling having an agent on his side would help.

And if it didn't, well then he could finally kill the bitch, which he would do eventually either way.

Breaking into the building was surprisingly simple. A few agents tried to stop him, but he killed them, and got the information on where to find what he was looking for. Who he was looking for. She was just an ends to a means, of course. There was no other reason for him coming to get Elle.

He twisted his hand, ripping open the door for her bedroom before stalking his way inside. He could hear the alarms going off, and they were probably calling out more agents to come after him. The sooner he got out, the better.

This time, she smirked back, cocking her head to the side. "It is fun," she agreed, electricity humming and buzzing out her her palm, connecting with his chest warningly as he went to corner her again. "Give me one good reason why I should keep playing."

"Because, I'm someone who can actually keep up with you," He replied, still smirking broadly at her. "I can take what you give, and return it in favor. If you kill me, and go back to that stuffy old Company of yours, will you really be happy?"

Elle stared at him for a moment, her self-assured smile falling less than an inch, her eyes darkening. Would she be happy back there, Gabriel dead or not? No. The answer didn't surprise her, but the fact that he knew the right question did. Her smile reemerged, this one more amused than angry. "Would I?" she parroted back.

The change in expressions was subtle, but not unnoticed. Sylar continued, his own smirk growing a little wider now. "I don't think so. I think you were bored, cooped up. When was the last time they even let you go outside? Wouldn't you rather be free?"

She wanted to snottily tell him she was allowed outside (sometimes), but let it slide for a more important point. "I'm not free here, apparently," she said simply, raising a sardonic eyebrow.

"You've had plenty of oppertunity to escape," He replied with an easy grin. "I haven't had anything locked all this morning, and you haven't even checked. So somehow, I don't think you're that upset aobut being "stuck" here with me."

"I assumed everything was still locked. Why beat a dead horse? I'm creative enough to think of something different." She shrugged, as if this didn't matter, even as her eyes slid curiously to the door. "So if I just went to leave, you'd just let me?" she asked, feeling him out.

"You could have gotten up while I was asleep and tried," He pointed out with a shrug. He had actually left the doors unlocked because he was pretty sure she wouldn't leave. But he didn't say that. For now, he played along. "I suppose, but is leaving me what you really want to do?"

"Hrm," Elle said thoughtfully, and straightened, dropping her hand as she pretended to think for a moment. "Let's see. You broke into my home, killed my co-workers, beat me up, dragged me here against my will, and then almost killed me." She sighed. "Yeah," she decided easily, and headed for the door without another word or glance towards him.

He took a few long strides before cutting her off at the door. As if he was really going to just let her walk away. "I didn't kill you though. I could have, but J chose not to. Doesn't that mean anything?"

She stopped with a tolerant, innocent smile as he spoke. And then tried to sidestep him. "No. I still want to leave."

"You'll be bored," He countered, blocking her exit once more. "Besides, who's to say I won't just come take you again?"

"That's a chance I can live with," she said simply, and attempted to edge past him, hand reaching for the doorknob.

He grabbed her wrist with ease, pulling her in. "But is it something you really want to live with?"

She stilled, her eyes shining with with amusement behind her flippant mask. "Sure, why not?" she said casually, extracted her wrist, and reached for the door again.

"Because you don't seem like the type who likes boredom," He mused, leaning against the door now.

"Thanks, but I can entertain myself," she retorted, wrapping her hand around the knob. She twisted it out of curiosity. He hadn't been lying; it wasn't locked. "I'd like to go now," she said sweetly, patiently.

"And I'd like alot of things, but it doesn't mean it's going to happen," He mused with a smirk. Not that he couldn't take more drastic means to keep her here, if he had to, but he was enjoying himself at the moment.

"Like your creepy obsession of keeping me with you?" she inquired swiftly, and tugged at the open door.

He rolled his eyes at that comment. "I'm not obsessed. And I don't think you really think I'm all that creepy."

"If you're not obsessed," she challenged knowingly, raising her brows and crossing her arms, "let me go."

"I didn't go through all that trouble to get you just to let you go. If I did, then I would have just wasted my time with all this. I don't waste my time," he countered in a matter of fact voice.

She rolled her eyes in exasperation and moved her hands back to her hips, pointing her nose in the air. "Just be a big boy and admit you kidnapped me because you still want me."

He rolled his eyes. "That wasn't the only reason." He replied stubbornly. At this point, he knew it would be a moot point to deny that he wanted her at all. That option had sailed as soon as he had kissed her last night.

But he wasn't too worried about it, really.

"It so was," she argued defiantly. "Noah may be hard to get past, but he's still human. You don't need inside information to snap his neck." Elle failed to see the logic in his reasoning. Plus, the idea he kidnapped her just for her was kind of flattering and romantic. She liked that idea, and she was sticking to it.
