The time spent in the Texas branch of Primatech had not been completely without merit. He had picked up alot of important information while they ran their tests on him, not the least of it being the address of the Cheerleader.

He would have escaped sooner if that stupid girl, Eden, hadn't shot herself. Still, her presence had made his mind wander back to someone else he had known back when he was still Gabriel, a name he heard repeated threw the walls a few times:

Elle Bishop.

The facts he gathered were simple enough. She was an agent and worked at the facility in New York. Which was where he headed as soon as he got out (which took alot longer than he liked. He had almost died in there). Especially with Claire's father being an agent, he had a feeling having an agent on his side would help.

And if it didn't, well then he could finally kill the bitch, which he would do eventually either way.

Breaking into the building was surprisingly simple. A few agents tried to stop him, but he killed them, and got the information on where to find what he was looking for. Who he was looking for. She was just an ends to a means, of course. There was no other reason for him coming to get Elle.

He twisted his hand, ripping open the door for her bedroom before stalking his way inside. He could hear the alarms going off, and they were probably calling out more agents to come after him. The sooner he got out, the better.

"I do when he brings that friend of him who makes my powers a moot point," He argued back firmly. And it was true. If it hadn't been for Eden and the other guy, they probably never would have captured him in the first place.

He paused for a moment, bringing a hand up to cup her face. "I will admit though, having you to myself is a definite bonus."

If she were to say his touch and words didn't soften her, she would have been lying. She pouted a little, lowered her head enough to look up at him through her lashes. "I'm useless against the Haitian, too."

"Except that you know he and Bennett work. How I can work around them to get to her, don't you see what a good asset you could be to me?" He asked softly, brushing his thumb against her cheek.

Of course she was useful. But she was still wary of his flattery; after all she rarely got any and it usually came with strings. "You could have just asked nicely in the first place," she said. "I don't even like the cheerleader much."

"How was I supposed to know just asking would work?" He countered with a raised brow. "I had no reason to believe you would willingly help me."

"You had no reason to believe I wouldn't," she said matter of factly. "I thought you had manners. Chivalry is dead," she sighed tiredly.

"What can I say?" He asked with a smirk and a shrug of his shoulders. "I prefer to just take what I want instead of asking, these days."

"I guess you wanted me really bad," she teased, leaning forward with a smirk.

He smirked back, leaning in as well. "I guess so."

"I guess I'll stay then," she quipped decidedly, and slipped from his fingers, flouncing back into the room. She grabbed her coffee and plopped on the bed, sipping it.

"Good, certainly makes things easier on me," He murmured, grabbing his own coffee now before sitting down on the other bed. Inwardly, he was more than just a little relieved she was staying.

"Is this what you do all day?" she asked, looking around the drab walls, unimpressed. And she wanted to fill the suddenly awkward silence.

"No," He replied, taking another sip of coffee. "Usually I head out and drive toward whatever target I'm going after at the time."

"That's your only hobby?" Elle said in disbelief--well, perhaps she believed it. It wasn't as if she hadn't read his file since the night in Queens. He'd been a busy bee since then.

"For the most part," He shrugged his shoulders. "I have to keep on the move anyways. I do spend time testing out the new powers though."

A suffering sigh passed her lips. Elle got up to walk across the room and then turn towards him, as if suddenly feeling the walls limiting the small room. And she was, really, for whatever reality that metaphor applied to. "You don't go new places, see new things, go to the movies, watch television, play with yourself?" she ventured. Maybe Elle lived in a prison, but that sounded more boring than any of the prisons she'd ever been to.

He rolled his eyes a little at her question. "Not only has your Company been chasing me down, but so has the CIA. It wouldn't be smart for me to linger in one place longer than I need to." He paused before adding. "But I do try to see the sights of a town before I go for the kill, if I can."

"How worldly of you," Elle pouted, and then let herself fall back on the mattress. It bounced beneath her, and Elle stared at the water-stained ceiling. At least at the Company she had people to torture. ow she had... coffee. She sat up on her elbows and looked over to him with puppy dog eyes. "Take me somewhere. I'm bored."

He rolled his eyes again but offered him her hand. "Fine. Where do you want to go?"

He supposed he could kill some time with her before they got back on the road.

She took his hand excitedly, and used it to pivot herself up, her arms wrapping tight around his midsection with an instant smile. Maybe Elle had been waiting for an excuse to touch him, and she usually took an inch and went a mile. "I don't know," she smiled, tilting her chin up against his chest. "Someplace fun."

He smiled, just enjoying holding her close for a moment or two. "Let's go out and see what we can find."

Back when he was Gabriel, he had imagined taking her out on dates, but now he couldn't think of any.

"Okay," she beamed, and squeezed him once, like he was a big teddy bear, before grabbing his hand and skipping towards the door. Going outside would be nice. She hadn't been outside for fun in a long time.

Neither had he, really. He didn't go out much other than to kill. Usually because the less he stayed in public, the better. But it seemed worth it, going out with Elle.

She passed the car, because she'd rather walk, and the town seemed big enough for somewhere interesting to go. Elle sidled up to Sylar as they touched the sidewalk, and held onto his arm, weaving her fingers through his and holding on. "How many powers do you have now, anyway?"

"Four," He replied smoothly, smirking a little with pride as they walked along. "Telekinesis, Trevor's ability, freezing and enhanced memory." He smirked a little bit more in thought. "And it'll be five once I get my hands on that Cheerleader."
